About the Nevada City Elks Lodge #518
Welcome. Our Lodge was chartered on October 14th 1899 and has served our community faithfully for over 120 years.
Our Lodge is nestled among the beautiful pine trees in the foothills of the Gold Country. We have continued to provide many services to our community. We began a snack program for our school children. We provide dictionaries to three local elementary schools. We have started a garden where local children come to plant vegetables and maintain them. We support our Law Enforcement officers with a special awards steak dinner one a year. We support our veterans and help with the veteran’s barbeque once a year in Reno. We work hand in hand with Hospice of the Foothills. We provide many other events through the year to support our community.
See our calendar for our monthly activities. On different nights we have a Fish Night, Taco Night, or Sandwiches, Soup and Salad. Check the calendar for the various offerings.
We have RV parking sites with power and water available.
Our Lodge also provides an excellent place for our community to hold weddings, parties, conventions, special private events or any other type of gathering. We offer an outstanding menu for your special event and we have a very beautiful lawn setting on a small rock island garden on a hill to hold weddings or other ceremonies. We have a full kitchen, a full bar and lounge and three beautiful dining areas within our Lodge. We also have a stage for your special performance. Our staff is as close as your telephone. Our event chairperson, Kim West, will make every effort to ensure your event is a total success.
